It is the month of harvest and this year the decennial Farmers Festival has come to town. A gathering full of food, friends, and good family fun, although perhaps you have never been?

The festival has arrived and stall owners and vendors have set up shop practically overnight, laying out a wide display of hand crafted and home grown goods that range anywhere from the most extravagant non-local honeys, to grandma's homemade apple pie. Trinkets and foods and exotic produce are abound, decorating each and every pop up shop and merchants table.

The smell of delicious freshly fried faire food wafts through the air and the excited bustle of crowding visitors chatters away at a near constant background drone. The sound of music and dance being performed in the distance rings somewhere nearby, and a generally merry and gracious mood fills the fairgrounds as you take your first few steps inside past dual waving banners.

Depict your character presenting their plant to the judges in the contest! Have they been caring for and growing this plant for months in preparation for today, or is theirs a last minute entry? Have they managed to grow something extraordinary, or is their plant small and lackluster? What sort of plant does your character grow? Is it a fruit, veggie, mushroom, or something else entirely?

✦ This is a Farmers Festival, and so of course there would be one final show for all the horticulturists out there. A contest that is open to anyone who wishes to enter!

✦ A test of your nurturing skills and your green thumb. Judges have all lined up and a crowd has gathered expecting to be amazed as a diverse cast of farmers and gardners from across the seas ready to put on display their healthiest and most well cared for crop. Browbirds, and kitbulls, and even some satyrs who have entered their own flora into the competition! Only, there is one tiny important detail.. everything being shown at this contest... Is incredibly oversized. Apples as big as skulls, pumpkins as tall as men, and mushrooms the size of small houses..
